Lessons Learned 1: Food Court

Here is the first video of the lessons learned series. I want to apologize about the audio. I had some technical issues, but I’ve worked out the kinks for future videos.

I’ll continue to post the lessons learned series here, but if you’re interested in other types of videos subscribe to my YouTube channel.

  1. The video is food for thought. I was picked-pocketed twice. Once in Rome on the metro the other in B.A. Argentina near a construction area. I was either tired or not paying attention but I knew better. What I get from the video is to remember to pay attention to what’s going on around you and your group. I’d take that a step further in today’s world and know what’s happening in the larger area (think entire field of view). The video could be a little larger to have a sharper image however the important take away is to gain situational awareness and think of what may or could happen. Another option for the ladies handbag would be to put it on the floor between her legs or on her lap. Again…be mindful. Also, mention to the group to watch this guy. Keep up the good work Chris…this helps. I’m just echoing your thoughts….

    1. Thank you for stopping by and giving some feedback, Mr. Browne. Getting a baseline of the entire area is always the goal. Sometimes, circumstances or time constraints make it difficult to do. I’m glad you were able to get a valuable takeaway from this video. As always, thank you for your continued support!
